AFL Grand Final Party

Friday September 28, 2007

Port Adelaide Power v Geelong Cats
from
9PM til late (Game should start at 10PM PDX time)

On Deck Sports Bar
910 NW 14th St
Portland, OR 97209

Phone: 503 227-7020

Entry Cost: $5 (includes raffle ticket)
RSVP: via poll on Yahoogroup website or directly to Mark O'Brien

Come and support our AFL sister-club from Port Adelaide take on the Cats in the big one.  As per last year, we will be having a raffle and announcement of the winners of the Tipping Competition and the awards for leading goal-kicker, MVP, Most Improved Player, etc. Your entry fee of $5 gets you one ticket for the raffle with extra tickets at $2 each.  We have sourced some nice prizes including meat pies, sausage rolls, a 6 pack of Coopers Beer, and Portland Power t-shirts for the raffle.

The party will be at the front of the bar that has been reconfigured seating to accommodate 45-60 people.

The On Deck Sports Bar does not allow children after 9pm, so unfortunately we can't include kids on the night - including some of our best new player talent from season 2007!  There will be a wide range of food and beer selections available and the televisions are HDTV with good sound.

Please support Rugby and our footy club by making On Deck Sports your favoured option to watch the Rugby World Cup because the venue's management has kindly not passed the $200 fee for them to restart Setanta on to us on the assumption that there are likely to be a few Rugby World Cup watchers in our group. Undoubtedly others at the pub will be interested in watching Rugby or live Australian Rules Footy games that are usually on at 9pm Friday and Saturday nights. There are other replay times and times that can be checked through Setanta Sports Channel.

Many thanks to Adam for making the arrangements for this big night.

If you have any queries, please contact Mark O'Brien.
