During the warmer months, the club holds a series of metro games as part of the Portland Australian Football League (PAFL) and the Portland Women's Australian Football League (PWAFL). For PAFL, the men of the club are split up into four local teams, the Ospreys, Loggers, Cascades, and Brewers. PWAFL consists of two teams, the Coastal Cutthroats and Dropbears. The games are played on a smaller field and with fewer players than standard Aussie rules matches. That means games are quicker, more high scoring, and give every player opportunities to get touches on the ball. Just like in the AFL, the season culminates in a Grand Final match between the top teams. The women play first followed by the men's game.
